Hello, I will tell you about my 30 day goal and my good time in GLPS camp. I chose the 30 day goals at the beginning of the GLPS . I'm going to talk about did I do great to achieve my goals and did I achieved.
My first goal was to end GLPS successfully. I achieved this goal because I didn't get really punished to PA's and TA's and got nine green cards! At the beginning of GLPS, I didn't really wanted to gt punished but now it's different. I came here to learn. And, make my English skills and be confident on every things. I knew that it is not that important not to gt punished by teachers. I finally knew why I came here.
My second goal was to get awards. I achieved this goal because I did something I can do well such as speaking and I did the speech in front of the judges and on the stage. I tried my best to do best in the speech contest, too. But, I knew that again, getting awards is not that important. The thing that I enjoyed and had fun is important. Any way, I enjoyed this camp so I achieved this camp so I achieved.
My third goal was to make many friends. I achieved that goal by trying to talk with my friends and always being kind to my friends.  I think I don't have to think again about this goal because making friends is always important. If we don't make any friends, we will get very lonely and the friendship might be gone.
Beside my goals, I had so much fun in GLPS. First of all, I knew that how to make a good speech and good presentation. I also learned how to do parliamentary debate. I just knew the original debate but I was very surprised that there's another kind of debate.

Second of all, I had so much fun playing with my friends. My roommates are very kind and we played baseball with paper ball and pillow bat. So these are my reflection.

Diamante Poems

I wrote the diamante poems. The first one is synonym poem which is the same as the first noun and the other one is the antonym poem, which is the opposite to the before.

photo essay

I'm in the GLPS and I'm very looking forward to go home. But, as I experienced a lot of camps and I thought I should keep some photo in order not to miss GLPS. I've been the Chongshim camp, Seongungwan camp and Philippines camp and I miss the places I stayed and I wanted to keep it with a photo. Now I will talk about it.

First, I will talk about our dormitory. It is quite big and there are very comfortable beds and there are very kind Roommates. The lams are very bright to let us study and the cafetaria is huge and smells good.

Second, I want to talk about the English building. I think it is the smallest buliding here. It is the closest building to the dormitory. There is a big computer lab, and other different classrooms and teachers. They are all great teachers. I'd just used the computer lab here.

Third, I want to talk about the Minjok building. It is a very traditional building. It is very similar to the ancient Korean houses. My teacher Ms.Heike is teaching us the blog writing. It is very fun and I like it.

Fourth, I will talk about the Dasan Building. It is the furthest building from dormitory but I have a lot of classes here. But, the building first floor's bathroom is really good. It has some very good things. I learn debate here. I have computer classes sometimes.They are very fun. The debate teacher is Zach Morgan. He is a good guy and very good at debate.

Fifth, I will talk about the Chung mu Building. I learn history here. Chung Mu Building looked really same as the Dasan Building. At first, I was very confused where is Chung Mu and where is Dasan. The history teacher is Albert Lee and he is really fun. I learned how to make a presentation by him.

Sixth, I will talk about the gym. I learned nothing here because of my foot but originally, I will to kendo. In here, we did Pop song Contest, Dance Party, Opening Ceremony and other events. In here, the smell is quite not good but it is huge!!!!! I liked it.

Finally, I will talk about my feeling here. I really want to go home but I will miss here and I will miss the great memories and good friends and everything.

Creative Writing SNAKEMAN

In 2050, there was a person named Balo Frank. He was about thirty years old, and he was a scientist who wanted to make people don't die. He thought of a lizard skin. Because if we cut the lizard's skin, it grows up again. He thought He thought that kind of things to people! He took some of the lizard's DNA and put it into the syringe and injected into his body. Suddenly, he thought that he is like a snake. Then, he transformed into a half body and half snake man. He thought of other things like lizard and he transformed into a lizard. Finally, he thought of him and he changed into original him again. But the strange thing was he has some sticky things on his hands and toes. He could climb because his skin is like a reptile. There was an another man named Kwang and he was the boss of the Ball team. The Ball team was a bad team which wanted to control the Earth. The government wanted to destroy them but he couldn't because Kwang was really silent and good at hiding. He was about thirty years old and invented the poison and it could easily kill the reptiles. He injected the poison to all of the Ball team members and they were strong. Kwang wanted to kill Balo Frank because he  accidentally killed Kwang's wife by the car accident. He wanted to avenge him.
Balo Frank named him a Snake man. and made his suit which was green and very tough. Suddenly, some loud noise heard. The Ball team killed all the people with their poison. They all become undead, like zombies and the Ball team attacked the Snakeman's house. Snake man got very angry and transformed into a snake. He was very flexible and could dodge very well. Also, he could easily get into the jets or machines and shot some poisons, the snake has it too. He attacked and jump. He was fighting in New York where every citizens became like zombie. But the Ball team shot some poisons.He dodged it and attacked them. Now, he transformed into a crocodile. He became really strong and he could easily kill people.
The Ball team also went to Korea, Seoul, and attacked the citizens. The Snake Man went into his jet and flew to Korea. He put his DNA and attached to his wife. She became a Snake Woman. Both of them dodged, attacked and transformed, destroyed every one in the Ball team. The Keong Bok Palace was destroyed and the building were crashed by jets and tanks. The Snake Man and Snake Woman's cooperation was terrific!!!!! They killed them and they made their cousins and relatives all the Snake Men and Snake Women. There were 16 totally. The boss was in Beijing. Millions of people in China became zombies. Snakes all turned into a crocodile and bit the zombies, kill them. However the boss was strong. He was in the core of the great wall of china. He made more and more people zombies and let them fight instead of him. Few of the snakes died because of the zombies and the Ball team but the Snake Man and the Snake Woman was safe. Finally, they fought with the boss, Kwang. Kwang had a special power, which is stop everything except him. he was trying to kill them with the poison. But, he couldn't. Because, the Snake Man and the Snake Woman were changed into turtles and hid inside into their shells.

Movie Review The Wizard of Oz

                          The Wizard of OZ  
  I saw the movie " The Wizard of OZ " The movie genre is classic fiction. It is an old movie so it is classic and it is not a true story so it is fiction. It was made in 1939. The original book was first published by L Frank Baum. The director of the movie is  Victor Fleming.
    There are the main characters.  There are Dorothy, Toto, who is Dorthy's pet dog, Antie Em, Uncle Harry, the scarecrow, the Tin man, the cowardly Lion, The Wizard of OZ, the good witch of the South, the wicked witch of the East, who died when the house fell on her, wicked witch of the West, and the Munchkins. The movie takes place in Dorothy's house , the Emerald city, the witch's castle, the Munchkins' Land and the yellow brick road. Now I will tell you about the plot of the story. First, the twister came. Dorothy and Toto fell on the Munchkins' Land and the good witch of the South told Dorothy that to go home, she should meet the Great Wizard of OZ. She met scarecrow, who wanted a brain, Tin man, who wanted a heart, Lion, who wanted courage. But, they can go to OZ after killing the wicked witch of the West. They melted the wicked witch of the West by pouring some water to her. And they go to the OZ, but he was not a real monster. He was just a human controlling the machine that can make the monster. Any way, they got what they want and Dorothy came back to her home by thinking " There's no place like home." 
  I could learn two leadership lessons in this movie. The first one is we can know how to persuade people. By watching Dorothy, she persuades the scarecrow,the Tin Man, and Lion to go with her. The second one is we can know courage by watching actors fighting with the wicked witch of the West.

  In my opinion, I think the movie was too old, so the graphic were not good, and I couldn't really understand what the actors were talking about. Also, it was not active, so it was very boring, but it was made in 1939, and in that time, graphic and skill it is a good movie. Also, it has some rumor so sometimes it was funny. The actors and actresses acted and dressed well, too. The movie is great but I don't really recommend this movie to my friends because it is too boring.

My thirty day goal.

  Hello. My name is Tommy Song. I want to tell you guys about my goal in thirty days.I was so impressed after I listened to the presentation of the presenter's thirty day goals. So I want to do that too. I'm now in the GLPS camp so I have to tell you about my goal while I'm in this camp.
  First of all, my first goal is to end GLPS successfully. That means, I don't get punished by PAs or  TAs and don't get any yellow card or red cards while I'm in this camp. If I get a yellow cards or red cards, I can get green cards and catch up. I chose that goal, which is end GLPS successfully, I don't want to punished. If I get those yellow cards or green cards, my mind will not comfortable and not good. And, everybody will be disappointed to me and will tease me that I got a yellow or red cards. To accomplish this goal, first, I have to try my best. If I don't try my best, that's nothing!!!! Secondly, can't be late in our class and follow the instructions of the teacher. If we are late, I'm going to get yellow cards. Also, if I don't follow the teacher's instructions, I might get a red card. So my camp will be failed and I can't achieve my first goal.
  My second goal is to get awards. That means, I want to get many green cards. To achieve this goal, I have to do two things. The first one is to be good at something I can do well. I can do well in archery or debate so I can try my best to get a good grade. Then I can get some green cards. Second step is to be an honor student. To be an honor student, we have to listen to the teacher very well, pay attention to the class and do the work and try my best. Also, friends will gonna respect me well.
  My third goal is to make many friends. If we make many friends, we can't be lonely and we can easily adapt to the new society or surroundings. To do it, I have to talk to my fellows, because we are in the same GLPS camp, we are all same friends. We can be all friends. When we get along each other, I need to keep our friendship, we both have to be friendly and kind to my friend. And we both get happy if we do friendly and kind
  So these are my thirty day goals. I hope you guys enjoyed it.

Hello GLPS!

Hi, every GLPS students. My name is TaeJoon Song. My nickname is Tommy. I am 13 years old and I'm in the 6th grade in Koong nae elementary school. I love to read Harry Potter books. Last time, until I was 5th grade, I didn't like to read Harry Potter books, but when I got into 6th grade, I started to understand it and started to read it and now, I'm almost addicted. My second goal is to listen to music. I am many good pop songs or classic songs. I like to listen to the music because when I listen to the music, I am really relaxed and comfortable. My favorite subject is science. Because I like science and it is fun to do the science experiments. Also, when I do the experiments, I can learn better because I actually feel it and see it. My second favorite subject is English. My dream job is to be an ambassador and ambassador should do the English well. I came to this camp last Sunday, July twenty first. I expect that I can do well at this camp. I am weak at writing so I have to do my best especially the writing part.
So I expect that I can do well at this camp.
